Yesterday was a much different experience. Sometimes people either walk by without even so much as a smile or saying hello. Not today. Instead of me having to do most of the talking, I listened. My heart and prayers go out to the women who stopped to share memories of their loved ones – even through tears for one in particular.

If you know someone currently caring for a family member or that has lost a close friend or relative to this disease, encourage them to visit ALZ.ORG to become an advocate or to learn more about local support and resources.
